Zion Retreat was founded in 2021, by a group of 4 teenagers (Brayden Pok, Brooke Anderson, Reign Farris, and Ashlyn Groeschel), who felt led by God to start a youth ministry event. This ministry was for students, led by students. The four high schoolers spent a lot of time praying, planning, and fundraising to be able to put on this retreat. The mission statement for Zion Retreat is to create a place for students to encounter God. Through the grace of God in July of 2022, the Zion Team launched their first event! Since then they have had 3 annual events, and are currently planning the 4th event.  As of July 2024, they have officially transitioned from Zion Retreat to Zion Ministries. The team's heart behind the expansion is to be obedient and used by God to form new ministry opportunities to reach more people. Zion Ministries mission statement is now to create a place for people to encounter God.

Zion Retreat is our annual youth event. It is a 3 day,  2 night High School Christian retreat. This will be our 4th year to put on the retreat. Our dates for this year are June 12-14, 2025, at Jacob's Ladder in Chandler, OK.

Our main mission is to create a place for students to encounter God. The last 3 years we have been able to experience God move in such powerful ways. We have had over 300 students and 100 adult leaders in attendance since we started. Students were able to grow in community, faith, and so much more. Every year on day two we have four students share their testimonies, which has always led to confession and healing. In the last 3 years we have had over 15 students who felt led by God to declare their faith through baptism. It was and is so evident that the Lord is moving in the students' hearts.
